Absolute Morgan Farm Clinic Series

The sport of carriage driving is structured to welcome drivers and horses of all abilities. Driving is especially inviting at the entry level, as the basic skills are fairly simple to understand and are readily acquired. The carriage horse performs in several venues -- speeding through the hazards of a combined driving event, performing a precise dressage test or demonstrating elegance in a working pleasure driving class. The camaraderie and helpful attitude among carriage driving enthusiasts is frequently noted by those new to the sport, which helps set it apart from other equine competitions. Carriage driving is one of the fastest growing equine sports, and is well suited to "baby-boomer" couples who want to get into horses.

Jeff enjoys working with beginning drivers as well as the more experienced drivers that wish to hone their skills for competition. Bring your horse or audit the day's lessons. Lessons are $55 each or two days for $100. Auditing is free. We also host a potluck supper on Saturday night for food, fun and camaraderie.
